New Years Resolutions for your PC

New Years Resolutions for your PC

According to recent research, the most popular New Year’s resolutions we make are all centered on health, with more exercise (47%), losing weight (44%) and a better diet (41%) topping the list. But apparently most people are likely to ditch their annual commitment to themselves by January 19! This year, why not make a resolution you can stick to?

Have you been putting off installing anti-virus software? Should you have backed-up important data months ago? Should you have invested in a new, more up to date machine by now? 2020 is the perfect time to start using your computer in a safer, more efficient way!

Treat your PC to a health-check

Schedule a post to a Facebook page

We regularly have check-ups at the dentist & doctors to ensure our bodies are in good working order. Your computer is very much the same – it requires a thorough health check at least once every 6 months to ensure it is working at its best. This will identify potential faults before they happen and will prevent the loss of your precious pictures, videos, music and important documents. Phew!

Getting invoices paid on time

Imagine having:

  • Remote support at the touch of a button

  • Antivirus cover to give you peace of mind

  • A qualified IT practitioner to find & fix faults before they happen, install security patches and update your machine regularly

Then you will have total peace of mind! A full “Managed & Secure plan” should cost no more than around £10 a month (psssst…. we have 3 plans to choose from ranging from as little as £2.50 a month!)

Upgrade your PC

Upgrade your PC

If your current machine is a little old, tired and behind the times, it might be time to bite the bullet and invest in a new PC! But like a comfy pair of old trainers, it can be hard to give up something familiar, even if they are a little tatty round the edges. Perhaps the whole debacle of setting up a new PC and having to transfer all the data has put you off until now? Don’t worry, we can safely transfer your user data including documents, pictures, music, video, emails and more! We will also identify software installed on your old machine and install it on your new machine, saving you more time and hassle.

Replace your damaged laptop screen

Replace your damaged laptop screen

Does your laptop screen have pixel defects, fuzzy or blurry displays, distorted colours or lines? Laptop screens usually employ liquid crystal display (LCD) technology, which can be susceptible to a variety of issues. Perhaps your kids dropped your laptop, or your dog sat on it and damaged the display? Working with a screen that is defected can be extremely frustrating but replacing your entire laptop can be pricey. Besides, you might not have had it long!? We can supply and install a replacement screen for nearly all laptops. Just send us the full model number of your laptop and we can provide a free quote for a replacement screen, normally with the same day repair (once your screen has been delivered). All our screens are fitted with a lifetime warranty (except where explicitly stated on an invoice), meaning that for the lifetime of your laptop the screen is guaranteed! Sorted!
